Bitcarrier has won Honorable Mention at IBM SmartCamp Global Finals held in San Francisco between January 31 and February 2, 2012. This competition was set up by IBM to identify the most promising technological start-ups in the world and work with them to build a smarter planet.
In the Global Finals, the nine regional finalists (selected from nearly a thousand startup companies that applied to IBM startup events in 2011) competed to be named IBM’s Global Entrepreneur of the Year. From the nine finalists, Bitcarrier was selected together with Profitero and Idxp to win the award. Finally, Profitero was named Global Entrepreneur of the Year, Idxp won the People’s Vote for the award and Bitcarrier won Honorable Mention.
