Bitcarrier has won the IBM SmartCamp competition for start-ups which was held in Barcelona last June 14, 2011. Bitcarrier and its solution for smart cities, Citysolver, has been selected among more than 70 companies as the project which best aligns with IBM Smarter Planet vision. The Barcelona competition is one of the nine regional IBM SmartCamp competitions to be held in 2011 in Bangalore, Austin, New York, London, Tel Aviv, Istambul, Rio de Janeiro and a Chinese city. As a regional winner, Bitcarrier will participate in the final IBM SmartCamp competition.
