Where is everybody? Being able to monitor the flow of people around a city in real time would provide invaluable information to urban planners, transport authorities, traffic engineers and even some businesses.

Raw Pedestrians Data

Urban audiences solution.

Until now, all  journeys and behaviours related to pedestrians in big cities had not had the possibility to be studied in an empirical and massive way.

Technologies applied to vehicle studies have not turned out to be succesful  when carried out in  pedestrians field. As a consequence, it exists a big gap when talking about what really happens in our cities. Nowadays, surveys and other vague counting methods that must be processed later are being used in order to deal with this problem.

Our pedestrian data service solution, enables an analysis in real time of the flow´s movement and time stay, as well as other qualitive data. With this data, it is possible to organise in a more efficient way the public transport routes and the necessary resources in order to offer a good service to residents and visitors.

A new field to study

The current projects that are being carried out about Barcelona city are providing us with very valuable information that will allow us to go into this new field in depth. The fact of not having counted on reliable technologies to audit audiences till now, has restricted a better development of this type of knowledge.

Our main clients are cities, like Barcelona, worried about sustainability and universities looking for new solutions for their cities, such as MIT and their SenseableCity Labs.
