Where is everybody? Being able to monitor the flow of people around a city in real time would provide invaluable information to urban planners, transport authorities, traffic engineers and even some businesses.

The value of aggregated data

Our technology primarily respects privacy of individuals. No personal data is audited, that is, the audited data cannot be related to particular individuals. Besides, so as to reinforce the security of data, an asymmetric encryption algorithm is applied  before data leaves the sensor and gets to the database.

Our value proposition lies in knowing what the traffic status is through aggregated data. Our system allows for the understanding of the group of elements shaping traffic but it is not intended for the understanding of particular elements separated from the group context. That is, the value of the information provided by our system is in the aggregated behavior of vehicles, not in the behavior of particular vehicles.

We understand that privacy is one of the most relevant concerns regarding our technology and consequently, we have devoted our best efforts for its protection.
