Facts & Figures
Bitcarrier has successfully implemented its Roadsolver solution along 1,500 km of highways in Spain and France and is currently providing real-time traffic information (mainly travel times) for thousands of travelers every day through the variable message signs. Bitcarrier has also implemented its Citysolver solution in major cities in Spain (Barcelona, Zaragoza) and is currently providing local authorities with real-time traffic information. Moreover, Bitcarrier is running several pilot tests of its solutions in Europe and South America.

A considerable amount of atmospheric pollutants have their origin in traffic-related emissions. By finding new ways to reduce congestion and use the existing road network more efficiently, we can make a real contribution to lowering traffic-related emissions. In Bitcarrier we believe that our technology will be part of a comprehensive control system that will contribute to the environmental sustainability.
Our technology primarily respects individuals’ privacy. No personal data is audited. In other words, the audited data cannot be related to particular individuals. Besides, so as to reinforce the security of data, an asymmetric encryption algorithm is applied before data leaves the sensor and gets to the database.
